The gloves are designed to protect the fire-fighter’s and rescuer’s hands from heat, water, blood and mechanical damage as well as weak acids and bases solutions.
- Gloves have four layers.
- The outer layer of the glove is made of fire-resistant material containing 73% meta-aramid, 25% para-aramid and 2% antistatic. In the area of the finger bones, the glove has additional protection from the main fire-resistant material.
- The second layer of the glove is a fire-resistant heat-insulating material based on aramid or carbon fleece.
- The third layer of the glove is a PTFE film membrane material with fire-resistant properties.
- Lining, fourth layer of the glove – knitted fabric from aramid.
- In addition, the palm is protected by a layer of wear-resistant material made of 100% aramid fiber coated with Silikon Carbon.
Gloves for firefighters are certified in according to EN UA 659:2017 and EN UA 407:2005.
