Description
The special heat-reflective suit “Index-800” is designed to protect the firefighter from intense heat radiation, high ambient temperatures, short-term contact with an open flame, as well as harmful environmental factors arising from complex fires at industrial enterprises (gas and oil producing and oil refining and etc.).
- Temperature range of operation of the suit: -50 … + 800C.
- A special heat-reflective suit “Index-800” is worn only for a short period of time, to provide an opportunity to enter areas of increased thermal radiation when fighting fires.
- The special heat-reflective suit “Index-800” provides protection for the whole body, as well as the head, arms and legs. The suit consists of a kit includes a jacket with a folding hood, equipped with a protective screen with a light filter, semi-overalls with straps, overboots and leather gauntlet mitts.
- The suit must be used in conjunction with the firefighter’s combat clothing, firefighter helmet and special footwear. A special compartment is provided for wearing the breathing apparatus in the suit. The costume design is combined with any type of isolating breathing apparatus.
- The special heat-reflective suit “Index-800” is made of heat-reflective, aluminized, heat-insulating and lining materials folded in a certain sequence.
